District Administration, Rajouri has issued 7600 certificates under special camps organised for service delivery at doorsteps under Public Service Guarantee Act. More than 18000 people participated in camps. Schedule for camps to be held in July has also been notified.
Deputy Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Addl DC Mumtaz Ali, ACR Paramjeet Singh, SDMs Gopal Singh, Harbans Lal, Kartar Singh and Afzal Mirza, Tehsildars and Naib tehsildars convened these camps which were also attended by officers of other departments. More than 800 issues and complaints were also redressed during the camps.
The certificates and services provided on spot include 1530 Permanent Resident Certificates, 950 Caste Certificates, 943 RBA/ ALC certificates, 480 Mutations attested, 1640 Revenue Extracts, 560 Income Certificates, 110 Marriage Certificates, 210 Character Certificates, 491 Aadhar verification, 17 Legal Heir certificates, and 617 other certificates. Public demands related to power, water and ration supply, pensions and health were also redressed.
Thousands of families have been benefitted under this outreach programme also saving time and money as certificates are being provided at village level instead of offices involving a long process. A total of 112 camps organised during the month. A schedule of 25 major such camps for services under PSGA and other services has also been notified.
The camps notified for July 2017 include on Khandyalkote on 4th July, Villages Devak and Panjah on 6th July, Narla and Chingus on 7th July, Nowshera and Bhawani on 8th July, Ghallan on 10th July, Sayal on 12 July, Kha, Khargalla, Gurah Top, Lamberi and Dodasan Bala on 15 July, Darhal on 19 July, Siot, Budhal, Rajdhani and Qila Drahal on 20 July, Azmatabad on 22 July, Treru on 24 July, Peeli and Kotli, on 30 July at Potha.
In addition to services for Revenue the district administration has also issued a calendar for 25 Health & Medical Check-up camps for providing various certificates and pension cases. Disability certificates and other vital certificates will be issued in these camps.
DC Dr Shahid appreciated the performance of revenue officers and field staff for outstanding service delivery and also announced award of Rs 10,000 for Tehsildar Thanamandi for providing maximum certificates during the month.
