KTMF calls for shutdown on July 1

Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers (KTMF) said that if the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is extended to the state without amendments, it will shutdown business and trade units as a mark of protest.

KTMF president Bashir Ahmad Rather has called for the shutdown on July 1 when the GST is rolled out across the country.

Hilal Ahmad, general secretary of KTMF and President of the Kashmir United Automobiles Federation, Hilal Ahmad Mandoo, said that the president has called for the shutdown on July 1st incase GST regime is implemented in the state.
