National Conference Core Group met in Srinagar today in a meeting that was presided over by Party Working President Omar Abdullah. The Core Group authorized Senior Party Leader Abdul Rahim Rather to represent the party in the meeting of the Committee formed by the Government on the issue of GST extension to the State. The Core Group reiterated the party’s stand of opposing any dilution of the State’s fiscal and political autonomy.

The Core Group Meeting was attended by Party General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Senior Leaders Abdul Rahim Rather, Party Vice President Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Akbar Lone, Surjeet Singh Slathia, Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial Presidents Nasir Aslam Wani, Devender Singh Rana and Party Treasurer Shammi Singh Oberoi.
