Clashes erupted between youth and government forces in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district after Friday prayers, sources said.

According to the sources, soon after the Friday prayers, youth assembled in main chowk Hajin and started pelting stones.

Consequently, forces resorted to teargas shelling ,triggering clashes.
