The joint resistance leadership on Wednesday appealed people to observe the last Friday of the Ramadhan as Youm-e-Quds and Youm-e-Kashmir.

The leaders including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik said that on the day, voice against oppression in Palestine and brutal state policies of India in Kashmir will be raised across all Masjids, Imam Badas and other religious places.

The leaders said that while the people of Palestine continue their struggle against the Israeli oppression, the people of Kashmir also laid down thousands of lives for their right to self-determination, a statement issued by the leaders said.

The leaders said that a resolution would be read on the day in all Masjids and Khanqah’s seeking peoples support.
