Youth took to streets in Pampore town of South Kashmir after news about a local militant trapped in encounter site spread in the town.
Clashes erupted when youth pelted stones on the forces and they retaliated with tear gas shelling and pellet guns.
According to the eyewitness, a youth named Sajad Ahmad of Drangbal Pampore was hit by a teargas shell on his head. He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital.
