BJP hitting core sectors of JK’s economy, alleges Congress

 

Former Union Minister of Railways and senior AICC leader, Pawan Bansal Monday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for their party interests has weakened tourism, economy and education sector in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a presser here at a local hotel in commercial hub Lal Chowk, Basnsal who was flanked by JKPCC president, G A Mir and other legislators said, “BJP has failed to come above their party lines. They for their party interests have deteriorated the tourism, economy and education sector in the state.”

He said that such things have worsened the security situation in the state. “The security situation has worsened while the citizens are feeling insecure to survive after the BJP government assumed charge,” he said.

Former union minister said that an atmosphere of insecurity has been created where citizens feel threatened. “Vigilantes have been let loose, which are attempting to decide dress and eating choices of people, he said.

He said that the leaders of BJP are making statements, which creates fear among the general public here. “The BJP chief ministers and other senior leaders including their official spokesman have so far made many statements, which have created a fear among the people here,” he said.

Bansal also said that BJP government at the centre has failed to fulfill the promises made with the people. “Three years of their tenure, a single promise has not been fulfilled while the people have been left to lurch at large,” he said.

AICC leader said that no new scheme has been launched by the PM Narendra Modi-led regime as they have only changed the names of previous schemes launched by the UPA government.

He said that the failure of the current regime has also affected the economy of the country.
