A toy grenade found lying on Srinagar-Jammu highway near Pampore town today created panic in the town in South Kashmir, sources said.

According to the reports, road opening party of 110 Bn CRPF found a grenade on the Srinagar-Jammu highway early Saturday. Forces cordoned off the area and traffic on national highway was suspended. Sources said that bomb disposal squad was called on, however on reaching there they found it a toy grenade. The traffic on the highway was resumed and cordon was lifted off.
