Stray dogs attacked and injured at least 17 persons in Umarabad area of Srinagar on Thursday.
The residents of Umarabad area told Kashmir Vision that the stray dogs are on prowl in their area and have attacked and injured at least 17 persons so far since this afternoon.
The persons who were attacked have been hospitalized for treatment.
Officials in the anti-rabbies department of Srinagar’s SMHS informed that they have received at around 15-17 cases of dog mauling throughout the day.
“One among the injured is critical,” they added.
