A woman was injured in Poonch early Saturday after Pakistani army resorted to shelling on forward posts on the LoC, reports said.
Sources said that Pakistani regulars resorted to heavy firing and mortar shelling on forward posts and civilian areas along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch.
The Indian Army responded to the Pakistan’s firing with full vigour. The exchange of fire between the two forces is still going on, sources added.
The Pakistani Army is firing with small arms, automatics, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars.
