Clashes erupted in many parts South Kashmir soon after the news about killing of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Sabzar Ahmad Bhat spread.
Clashes were reported from the Anantnag, Pulwama, Pampore, tral and Kakapora areas of south Kashmir. Sources said that shopkeepers pulled down their shutters and schools were immediately closed in most parts of the south Kashmir.
Situation is said to be very tense in the area.
