Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, on Saturday, paid rich tributes to late Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and late Abdul Gani Lone whose death anniversaries would be observed today.

The Chief Minister said the contribution made by the two leaders in the socio-political awakening of people would long be remembered in Jammu and Kashmir.

She said the best tribute to these two leaders would be that the people of the state commit themselves to peaceful means for resolution of issues.
