SKPSA holds district, South Kashmir Executive Council meetings

 

Anantnag:  South Kashmir Private Schools Association (SKPSA) District Anantnag Thursday held its Executive Council and South Kashmir Executive Council meetings and discussed the problems confronting the private school sector.

The two meetings were held at the association office under the chairmanship of acting President, Shah Gulzar.

The meeting was attended by all Zonal Presidents, District Coordinator, District treasurer of the district Anantnag and District Presidents and District secretaries of Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian.

According to the statement issued here, the problems confronting private school sector were discussed in detail especially government order 338-Edu.

In the meeting, it has been decided to make the All India Educational Conference, slated to be held on May 24 at SKICC successful.

All the Zonal Presidents were made in charge in respect of their zones for the completion of the arrangements for the conference.

In the meeting, it has been also decided to follow the programs of the Joint Committee of Private Schools in letter and spirit.

Meanwhile, SKPSA today welcomed the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Education Minister, Altaf Bukhari for initiating revolutionary changes in the functioning of private schools that will greatly benefit every stakeholder in the state.

The statement reads that the new Education Minister and his team of officers have taken long pending decisions, which shows the commitment of the Minister to bring positive change in the education sector.

The Association has congratulated Showkat Choudhary and G N Var for their efforts in making this possible.

They also assured the government that highest standards of education will be maintained as is being presently done.
