A dead body was found at Gudoora in the jurisdiction of Police Station  Pulwama this morning.  The body was later on identified as that of Mohammad Yousuf Lone son of Sana-ul-lah Lone resident of  Gudoora, Pulwama.

“During the initial investigation,  it was revealed that the deceased was fired upon by militants during the intervening night of 18-19 May 2017”, police said in a statement. 

According to the police, a case FIR number 174/2017 under section 302 RPC and 7/27 Arms Act has been registered in PS Pulwama.

Police also said that further investigation is going on.
