Anti-polythene drive held in Bijbehara

Anti-polythene drive was held in Bijbehara today under the supervision of BDO Bijbehara Mr. Ashfeen Ali Khan.

BDO along with Assistant engineer Mr. Tariq Ahmad Veeray and other officials checked  many shopkeepers in Semthan, Sangam, Sethar and  Pazalpora villages of Block Bijbehara and fined Rs 200 per shopkeeper who were found violating government orders. Consequently, a sum of Rs 5600 was collected as fine from shopkeepers.

Talking with Kashmir Vision BDO Bijbehara, said that such drives will continue in future also and those who violate the government orders will be dealt strictly.

Locals hailed the efforts of BDO and his team and hoped that such type of drives will continue in future also.
