Two drug peddlers were arrested by police in Bandipora district of North Kashmir and banned drugs were recovered from their possession today, sources said.
According to the police sources, Ubaid Hassan Baba, son of Farooq Ahmad Baba, resident of Plan and Wajahat Hussain, son of Muhammad Aslam, resident of Gundpora were arrested along with banned Spasmo-Proxvon tablets.
”On specific information, Bandipora police headed by SHO Bandipora Police Station Syed Gazanfar acted swiftly and arrested the two drug peddlers,” said the police official.
An FIR under section 8/22 NDPS act has been registered in Police Station Bandipora and further investigation has been taken up.
