National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Mr Omar Abdullah today condemned continued shelling from across the border in Naushehra and Manjakote sectors along Line of Control and expressed deep grief and anguish over the deaths of civilians in forward areas.

The President and the Working President prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear their irreparable loss. They conveyed their condolences and expressed solidarity with the families who have lost their dear ones and wished immediate recovery to the injured.

Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah called for urgent measures to ensure safety of the border dwellers and all assistance to those living in make shift accommodations.
