AOA sans road map to address Kashmir issue: Congress

While critiquing PDP for playing with emotions of people, Congress on Thursday said that the party is befooling people of Kashmir over initiating dialogue process with all the stakeholders including the separatists.

Ridiculing the statement made by PDP leader Muhammad Sartaj Madni where he had said that “dialogue without Hurriyat is meaningless,” Congress said that “the different stands of the coalition partners are testimony to the fact that the agenda of alliance between them possess no strategy to address the Kashmir issue.”

“PDP has backstabbed the people of Kashmir as it has sell out before the BJP for the lust of power,” congress spokesperson said in a statement

“Bonhomie between PDP-BJP has come to an end in true sense, but the lust for power doesn’t allow them to break this unholy alliance,” statement added.

Stating that “dialogue is the only way to resolve the Kashmir issue,” and in case the problem is not addressed, he said that “people of Kashmir would continue to suffer.”
