The Youth in Kashmir are showing overwhelming response to the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Police recruitment process, a police spokesman said.
He said that recruitment rallies were held in Bandipora and South Kashmir’s Anantnag District where hundreds of young men and women thronged the recruitment venues on Wednesday.
On the first day of the rally 1295 candidates participated in Bandipora and 1674 in Anantnag District, the spokesman added.
“All the measures and methods involved in the recruitment process are technology driven with minimal human intervention. The Physical Tests are being conducted by using RFID chips with computerized readings and results. All the events involved in the Physical tests are also being video-graphed,” he added.
The candidates who qualified the physical test today will have to appear in the written examination for the final selection.
The recruitment rally in Bandipora will continue tomorrow as well and for next three days in Anantnag, the spokesman added.
