Clashes erupted in Lal Chowk Srinagar after students from neighboring educational institutes assembled near Exchange Road and pelted stones on the passing government vehicles, sources said.

As per the sources, the incident affected the vehicular movement on MA Road and its adjoining areas.

Consequently, government forces took action and chased down the protesting students.

Pertinently student protests have been rocking the entire valley since the government forces’ action on the students of Pulwama Degree college on April 12.
