Police recovered a male unidentified body from river Jehlum in Awantipora, a police spokesman said.
He said that a police party of police station Awantipora fished out an unidentified male body from river Jehlum near Kachachkoot, on Saturday. After completing medico-legal formalities police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain his identification and cause of death.
