Militants on Sunday appeared at the funeral of slain commander, who was killed in an encounter at Qazigund on Srinagar-Jammu highway, and offered him the gun salute.
Militants fired in air at the funeral of s Fayaz Ahmed Ashwar alias Setha from Reshipora Qaimoh , in Kulgam district of south Kashmir. As per sources, he was killed when he attempted to snatch a AK-47 rifle from a cop after the attack.
As per the eyewitnesses, thousands of people gathered at the funeral of the slain militant. People offered funeral prayers in the Qaimoh village among anti-India and pro-freedom slogans, eyewitnesses said.
