A youth was injured after he was hit by pellets at Churat, Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to locals paramilitary CRPF men fired pellets at youth who pelted stones on their cavalcade which was passing through the village. They said that a 14 year old boy identified as Zeshan Farooq Shah S/o Farooq Ahmad was injured in forces action. He was rushed to a local hospital.
Zeshan was shifted from Qazigund hospital to District hospital Anantnag where his condition is believed to be stable, hospital sources said.
