Amid growing clamour for governer’s rule in the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday summoned J&K governor NN Vohra to New Delhi.
Sources said that the meeting between Vohra and Narendra Modi is to discuss the deteriorating situation in Kashmir.
According to the reports, Vohra is scheduled to meet national security adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval and home minister Rajnath Singh before calling on Modi.
Opposition Congress and National Conference have demanded governor’s rule in the state for “the restoration of peace”.
