Former union minister and senior Congress leader, Prof Saifuddin Soz, on Tuesday, expressed his sadness over the assassination of district president of PDP, Abdul Gani Dar.
“I express my deepest sadness on the assassination of district president of PDP, Abdul Gani Dar. It is an atrocious act of crime that an unarmed civilian was killed like this.”
He said that the civil society, including separatists and mainstream political parties must condemn this crime.
“It is a matter of duty for the people of Kashmir to reject the mentality that makes somebody kill an unarmed civilian. I wish somebody claims responsibility for this crime so that people understand the dimensions of this heinous crime.”
Soz said, “I offer my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.”
