Giving the residents of Gurez valley a major relief, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today formally launched the chopper service between Srinagar and Gurez. This would not only ensure quick connectivity to the residents of this border town to Srinagar but also provide them an easy and round the year access to rest of the State and the country.

As a gesture, Mehbooba Mufti distributed the tickets among the first batch of passengers, wished them well and waved them before takeoff.
Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Nazir Gurezi; former MLA, Faqir Mohammad Khan; Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan; IG Kashmir zone, SJM Gillani, officers of Budgam administration, representatives of airline service and passengers of the inaugural service were present on the occasion.
