Traders raise concern over dilapidated city roads

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation raising its concern over dilapidated city roads Tuesday said the government has completely neglected Srinagar on the development front.
“Pothole epidemic prevailing across the city is the direct result of years of underinvestment in our roads by the government,” president KTMF, Mohammad Yasin Khan said.
He said though there have been temporary fixes but these have just escalated the problem over the years.
Khan, according to statement led a delegation of the federation to which took a tour of the city and visited various areas including Mehraj Gunj, Zaina Kadal, Nowhatta, Jamia Market and Nowshara.
Traders appraised the delegation about the different issues faced by the traders.
