‘2 cops hurt in stone-pelting’

Srinagar: Two police personnel including a sub-inspector were injured during stone-pelting in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district Friday, police said
Groups of youths indulged in stone-pelting on police deployment at Khanpora in Baramulla district after Friday prayers injuring a sub-inspector and a cop, a police spokesman said.
He said stone-pelting was also reported from Palhallan area of Pattan but there was no report of any casualty or injury to any one.
Police fired a few teargas shells and used batons to disperse the youths who were chanting pro-freedom slogans.
