SIT formed to trace kidnapped youth

Srinagar: Following days of protests and shutdown, police Friday constituted a Special Investigation Team(SIT)  to trace a youth kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his residence at Sopore last month.
A shutdown was observed in Sopore town on Wednesday and Thursday over the alleged police inaction to trace the youth ,  Mushtaq Ahmad Changa, who was kidnapped by unknown masked gunmen from his house at  Hyder Colony on January 29.
Police said the youth has been kidnapped by militants. “DIG North Kashmir has constituted a SIT to trace Mushtaq Ahmad Changa who was kidnapped by militants in Sopore,” a police spokesman said.
