Jammu: A debate competition on Human Rights awareness was organized today by J&K Police Telecom Headquarters at Conference Hall, APHQ Gunshan ground here on the topic “The evolving role of police in the wake of COVID pandemic and lockdown implementation”.
IGP Headquarters/Technical services (PHQ) Shri Garib Das was the chief guest. Smt. Anita Sharma, SSP Commandant IRP-14th BN, Mohammad Shabir SO to Commandant Genl. HG/CD, J&K Jammu and Shakeel Kachroo, SSP Telecom Jammu were present on the occasion.
The different J&K Police wings viz PHQ, Security, Crime, CID, traffic, Telecom participated. The debate was conducted under the chairmanship of Davinder Pal Singh, Director Police telecom, J&K. After the culmination of the function Shri. Davinder Pal Singh Director Police Telecom, J&K distributed the cash prizes among the winners. . First, 2nd and their prize was given to Inspector Raj Kumar of CID Jammu, SI Sumit Mangotra of Crime Headquarters Jammu and women Constable Sayida Akhter of Security Jammu respectively.
