REASI: District administration Reasi is mulling to utilize and conserve water springs flowing from Railway tunnels to meet the shortage. District Development Commissioner Reasi Indu Kanwal Chib, today visited Railway tunnels at Gran Morh area of district Reasi said that the flowing water from tunnels could be preserved and provided to the areas of District Reasi. The DDC asked the PHE department to conduct a survey of T3 and T5 tunnels and explore the possibility for its utilisation for use. “Because of diverse factors water supply may not adequately meet a community’s needs. Conservation of water will ensure supply of fresh water for everyone, today and tomorrow” she said.
