Srinagar: One person was killed and eight others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley, police said Sunday.
A vehicle skidded off the road at Galandar in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district resulting in injuries to seven persons, including the driver Shahzad Ahmad Lone.
The injured were rushed to hospital, where Lone was declared brought dead.
Two persons were injured when two vehicles collided at Magam Tumpora in Kupwara. The injured have been hospitalised.
