SHOPIAN: Shopian Court on Friday charged a man with murder of his daughter-in-law after 12 years and sentenced him with life imprisonment and Rs 10,000 penalty.
The court found Ghulam Hassan Malik son of Fateh Mohammad Malik, resident of Chek-Saidpora guilty of murder of his daughter-in-law, Gulshana Banoo in 2008 case.
Principal Sessions judge Shopian, Skinder I Azam while delivering the judgment said that it was an inhuman act committed by Malik. “He has been sentenced to life imprisonment and Rs 10000 as penalty,” he pronounced.
