BARAMULA: Four army soldiers were swept away by a snow avalanche that hit an army post in Tangdar in Kupwara on Tuesday.
Police said that the avalanchehit Eagle post of 2 army’s Jatt regiment in Tangdar village near Line of Control in morning.
It said that four soldiers were buried under the avalanche.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kupwara AS Dinker told Kashmir Reader that a rescue operation was launched to trace the missing soldiers.
