SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan Friday visited SMHS hospital and took first hand appraisal of the healthcare facilities being provided to the patients.
On the occasion, Div Com stressed on the cleanliness in the hospital premises and also enquired about the availability of Life saving medicine, Oxygen cylinders and other necessary items of the health care.
Div Com passed various instructions to the hospital authorities and also inspected various wards during which he interacted with the patients who informed him about the facilities being provided to them.
Div Com directed the SMC officials to clear all the snow from the hospital premises for the convenience of the people visiting hospital.
On the occasion, he was also informed about the overall healthcare scenario in the major hospitals in Srinagar. It was informed that heating arrangements have been made in all the hospitals.
The Div Com was accompanied by Additional Commissioner, Kashmir; ADC Srinagar; Commissioner SMC; Chief Engineer PDD; Chief Engineer R&B and the officials of other concerned departments.
