Jammu: A man, who was absconding for the last 17 years, was arrested here, the police said today.
Acting on an information, Ashwani Sharma was arrested from Huran Kund area of Jammu and was produced in a court yesterday, a police officer said.
Sharma was involved in a case of crime in 2001 and was evading arrest for the last 17 years, he said, adding the court had issued warrant against the accused.
