Srinagar: Cordon and search operation has been started by government forces in many villages of South Kashmir.
Official sources said that government forces launched searches in Awneera, Durpora and Chermarg villages of Shopian district and Tantray pora Watnard area of Anantnag district after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants hiding in the area.
Sources said that large number of forces have been deployed and door to door search operation is going on in all these aeas.
