Srinagar: A 16-year-old boy was injured after accidentally sustaining a gunshot injury at his residence in Anwarabad Salkoot area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
An official said that the incident occurred when the teenager was accidentally hit by a shot fired from a licensed bore gun kept at home.
He said the injured was immediately shifted to sub-district hospital (SDH) Kupwara, where he was provided initial treatment before being referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for advanced medical care—(KNO)
