Srinagar: The PDP on Sunday lashed out at the ruling National Conference saying the elected government was acting like an opposition party while enjoying the perks of power.
In its monthly newsletter Speak Up, the PDP said the people of Jammu and Kashmir delivered a thumping majority to the National Conference (NC) out of a desperate need for a local shield.
It said the electorate handed over absolute power, expecting that a massive regional majority would finally act as a buffer against administrative overreach, and protect ordinary citizens from everyday institutional hardships.
