Interacts with public, individual delegations at Nawa-e-Subha

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar Wednesday said that the Omar Abdullah-led government has significantly accelerated the pace of development across Jammu and Kashmir with special emphasis on strengthening basic infrastructure, improving public services and ensuring the welfare of all sections of society.

He made these remarks while interacting with scores of public and individual delegations at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

During the meeting, delegations from different districts and constituencies apprised Sagar of various developmental concerns and public issues affecting their respective areas. The issues raised included improvement of civic amenities, road connectivity, drinking water supply, power infrastructure, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, employment opportunities, and other matters of public importance. The delegations acknowledged the great respite felt across all sectors ever since the elected govt came into being.

Giving a patient hearing to all delegations, Sagar assured them that their genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt and effective resolution. He reiterated that the National Conference government remains fully committed to addressing people’s grievances and ensuring equitable development across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sagar said that the present government is working tirelessly to fulfill the aspirations of the people by prioritizing development, transparency, and accountable governance. He emphasized that the administration has adopted a people-centric approach and is actively monitoring the implementation of developmental projects to ensure that benefits reach the grassroots level.

“The Omar Abdullah-led government is determined to strengthen infrastructure, improve public services and create opportunities for economic growth and social welfare. Our objective is to ensure that every citizen experiences the positive impact of development and good governance,” Sagar said.

He further stressed that public outreach and direct engagement with people remain central to the government’s functioning, enabling timely identification and resolution of issues faced by citizens.

Among those present on the occasion were Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, Provincial President Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya, Minority Wing Convenor Sardar J.S. Azad, Amit Koul, and G.N. Wani Tailbali.
