HAJIN: Halqa Adab Sonawari on Wednesday organised a special programme under its ongoing series titled “Katha Batha” at the residence of its senior member, Al Haj Ghulam Nabi Dar, where literary personalities and scholars engaged in an insightful interaction on various aspects of his life and contributions.
The programme was attended by eminent educationist, writer and intellectual Prof. Shaad Ramzan, veteran writer and critic Prof. Mohammad Zaman Aazurda, President of Adabi Markaz Kamraz Mohammad Amin Bhat, General Secretary Shabnam Tilgami, Patron of Adabi Markaz Kamraz Dr. Rafiq Masoodi, besides dozens of members of Halqa Adab Sonawari.
During the interaction, the participants held an elaborate discussion on different phases of Al Haj Ghulam Nabi Dar’s life, his literary and social contributions, and the experiences that shaped his multifaceted personality. Several questions pertaining to his life’s journey were posed to him, and his thoughtful and engaging responses kept the audience captivated throughout the session.
The organisers said that the programme would be made available on the official YouTube channel of Halqa Adab Sonawari, enabling a wider audience to benefit from the enriching conversation.
The proceedings of the event were conducted by Dr. Riyaz-ul-Hassan, while technical support for the programme was provided by Majid Majazi.
