SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Ali Muhammad Sagar Saturday urged the administration to ensure comprehensive arrangements for the smooth observance of the forthcoming Eid-ul-Azha across Jammu and Kashmir.
Sagar emphasized the need for uninterrupted supply of essential services including electricity, potable water, sanitation, healthcare facilities, and availability of essential commodities during the auspicious days of Eid. He also called for proper traffic management, cleanliness drives around mosques and shrines, and adequate public transport facilities to facilitate devotees and the general public.
He stressed that special attention must be given to sanitation measures in and around Eidgahs, marketplaces and residential areas to ensure convenience for people during the festival.
Sagar further appealed to the concerned departments to work in close coordination so that the people do not face any inconvenience during Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
