A Legacy of Academic Distinction
SRINAGAR: Delhi Public School, Srinagar, has fortified its status as a premier centre of academic merit following the declaration of the CBSE Class 12 Board Examination results. The institution celebrates a significant milestone of intellectual discipline and scholarly excellence while validating a strong academic framework designed to encourage critical thinking among the region’s emerging intellectual leaders. This year’s performance reflects the culmination of a rigorous journey where students merged traditional study with modern interdisciplinary inquiry.
Abdullah Bin Zubair spearheaded the institutional triumph by securing an extraordinary 99 percent aggregate. His achievement signals a modern educational shift as he successfully navigated the complexities of the Humanities alongside Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Reflecting on his journey, Abdullah noted: “First and foremost, I thank Almighty Allah for this achievement. I am also truly grateful to my teachers, my school, my grandparents, my parents, and my brother, as none of this would have been possible without their constant support. As a humanities student, this means a great deal to me, and I hope it reflects that the humanities is far more relevant today than it is often given credit for. It helps us ask the right questions about the world around us. Alongside my humanities subjects, I also opted for Computer Science and AI, and I have personally found it fascinating how the two connect. I feel there is something wonderful at that intersection worth exploring.”
Zarmeen Khan, distinguishing herself in the Commerce stream, attained the second position with a stellar 96.8 percent through a commitment to conceptual mastery and methodical study. Her achievement highlights the institutional effort to move students beyond standard curricula toward a genuine engagement with their subjects. Zarmeen views her success as a product of the intellectually stimulating atmosphere provided by the faculty, which encourages students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical real-world contexts. Her journey stands as a blueprint for students seeking to balance high ambition with a steady and disciplined work ethic.
Ayra Umar, further showcasing the institution’s strength in Humanities, secured the third rank with 96.6 percent and offered a poignant reminder that academic success hinges on more than cognitive ability alone. Ayra remarked: “Success in exams is not about intelligence alone; it is about consistency, discipline, and pressure-handling.” Her success mirrors the dedication of the school to building emotional fortitude and preparing learners for the rigorous demands of higher education and professional life. The collective performance of the batch remains equally impressive as thirty students surpassed the 90 percent milestone, which reinforces the mission of the school to empower every learner to reach their highest potential.
Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan, remarked, “The Class 12 results this year represent more than mere statistical success because they reflect the profound intellectual maturity of our students. We have witnessed a generation of learners who view academic rigor as a pathway to purpose rather than a destination in itself. I extend my heartiest congratulations to Abdullah Bin Zubair, Zarmeen Khan, Ayra Umar, and our other top achievers for their scholarly discipline. Our faculty deserves immense credit for providing the mentorship required to transform potential into such a brilliant reality.”
Echoing the sentiment, Chairman, Mr. Vijay Dhar stated, “These achievements reinforce our institutional mission to produce reflective and capable leaders who are prepared for the complexities of the future.
