BANDIPORA: A 30-day free computer training course for underprivileged students organised by the 45 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under its Civic Action Programme concluded on Wednesday in Sumbal.
The course was conducted at Rizwana B.Ed College, Asham, where several students from economically weaker sections participated and received basic computer training during the month-long programme.
At the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed among the participants. The students expressed gratitude to the CRPF for organising the programme, saying that such initiatives help them gain useful skills and improve their chances of employment in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Apoorwa said that the CRPF remains committed to supporting the welfare and development of the local population. He emphasised the importance of empowering youth through skill development and said that more job-oriented programmes would be organised in the future for the benefit of underprivileged sections.
The initiative was appreciated by members of civil society, who said such programmes play an important role in guiding youth towards productive opportunities.
