Addresses YNC functionaries at Nawa-e-Subha
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Additional General Secretary and Member of Parliament Chowdry Muhammad Ramzan Monday said that the Youth National Conference (YNC) serves as a springboard for nurturing leaders who go on to become integral parts of the party’s parent body.
He made these remarks while addressing a meeting of the YNC North Kashmir, held today at the Nawa-e-Subha. The event was organized by Zahid Mughal, Zone President North Kashmir and was attended by YNC cadres from across the region. The event was Chaired by YNC Provincial President Kashmir Mir Mushtaq.
In his address, Choudhary Ramzan, who was also chief guest on the occasion, underscored the significant role that the YNC has played in shaping the careers of numerous regional leaders. “The YNC has not only been a launchpad for emerging leaders but has also provided a platform for youth to voice their concerns and contribute to the broader narrative of change and progress. Many of our current leaders have risen through the ranks of YNC and today they stand as pillars of strength for the party and the people. The future of the National Conference lies in the hands of our youth and we are proud of their unwavering commitment to the cause.”
In his address Mir Mushtaq said, “The Youth National Conference is the backbone of our party. We look to our young leaders to continue the fight for justice, development, and the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The energy, enthusiasm,and dedication our youth bring to the table will be instrumental in the party’s growth and in realizing our vision for a brighter future for the region.”
The meeting was attended by key party leaders, including Vice President Salman Matoo, Provincial Secretary Sheikh Ovais, Joint Secretaries Khursheed Sahib and Bilal Ganie, Zonal Vice Presidents Iqbal Nabi, Yunis Lone, Khursheed, and Dr. Aijaz, as well as Zonal Secretary Farhat Mir and Joint Secretary Preezada Ovais. Senior members, such as Kafil Ahmad Dar, Lateef Bhat, and Coordinator Showket Bhat, were also present. Notably, the District President of JKYNC Kupwara, Zahoor Magray, along with district committee members from Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara including their vice presidents, secretaries, and executive members also participated, reflecting a strong sense of unity and organizational coherence within the party.
The focus of the meeting was on enhancing youth engagement, reaching out, strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots level and strategising future initiatives aimed at strengthening the party.
