Anantnag: After carrying a news report regarding the failure of administration in upgrading the infrastructure at GHSS Verinag from past 15 years, the state government has finally settled the issue with the land owner.
Sources told this newspaper that the government has resolved the issue by settling the issue with the land owner and has decided to upgrade the infrastructure.
They said that the Education Minister, Syed Altaf Bukhari is scheduled to inaugurate the school on Dec 16, this year.
Pertinently, the construction on the building was started in 2006 when state Congress President, Ghulam Ahmad Mir was the MLA but due to the tussle with the land owner, the construction work was halted.
