An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 hit Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, the United States Geological Survey said. It said a magnitude of 4.6 measured on richter scale 98km South West of Leh in Ladakh region.
The tremors were felt at 4:13 pm in the entire state.
There was no immediate report of any injury or destruction in parts of the state. Further details are awaited.
