SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial Vice President and MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar inaugurated a ₹2.28 crore augmented water supply scheme at Wangund, Tailbal, benefiting over 14 localities including Dangerpora, Khawaja Bagh and Astaanpora.
The project, featuring a 50,000-gallon overhead tank, aims to tackle long-standing water shortages and ensure reliable access to clean drinking water.
Speaking at the event, Sagar said, “This modern infrastructure will significantly improve daily life, strengthen essential services, and ensure every household has safe, reliable water.”
On the occasion, he lauded CM Omar Abdullah for his consistent focus on infrastructure and public welfare measures.
