Srinagar: Former Chief Minister and National Conference President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the indiscriminate and dastardly attack on a mosque in Egypt that resulted in hundreds of fatalities.
“This is tragic beyond words can express. I extend my condolences to the families of all victims and pray for peace to the departed souls. Violence has affected Muslims more than anyone else in the world and it is incidents like these which should necessitate efforts for stability, unity and reconciliation within the community. Enemies of peace can be defeated by moderation, stability and understanding”, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said.
