SRINAGAR: Cutis Institute of Dermatology successfully organized an advanced Laser and Aesthetics Workshop on 11th Feb 2026, bringing together leading dermatologists from across the kashmir valley and Ladakh for an intensive academic and hands-on learning experience. The workshop served as an academic platform for knowledge sharing, live demonstrations, and discussions on the latest advancements in treatment of vascular skin lesions and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
The workshop was organized and led by Dr. Imran Majid, Director of Cutis Institute of Dermatology. Dr Gulhima Arora, a leading dermatologist and dermatosurgeon from Delhi talked on Thread lift procedure and did a demo and hands on training for the attending dermatologists. Several famous dermatologists from across the valley attended the workshop whose presence enriched the scientific discussions and live demonstrations.
The workshop highlighted the latest advancements in non-surgical facial rejuvenation and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, including HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound), and Threadlift Procedures.
In addition to that, the workshop also covered advanced technologies including the 585nm laser and Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF). Experts demonstrated how these modalities are being used, the session emphasized the importance of combining technology with clinical expertise to achieve natural and safe results.
